Digital terrestrial television is becoming the new standard in most of the boating developed countries. The digital terrestrial standard DVBT allows to receive with the same high definition as on digital satellite TV by a decoder (not supplied) free on air channels and special events on a pay per view base, thanks to rechargeable
cards like those for mobile phones. The directional antenna V9130 allows to receive only from one direction and with a beam of 60°, thus avoiding the reception of all the reflected signals from sailboat masts, cranes, buildings etc. in the area. The result is therefore a clear crispy digital image on your TV set, since this directional antenna prevents the little movements of the boat from stopping the reception of the digital signal, as happens with reflected ones. In an area where the DVBt signal is very strong like a town, frequently an amplified signal cannot be received on digital TV as it is deteriorated from the amplification and to reduce the amplifier gain to solve the problem isn’t enough. The exclusive Glomex amplifier bypass allow to switch the antenna signal on TV set without any passage through the amplifier to get crispy digital image on the screen.
