Description
LED Navigation Light
Features:
- These LEDs are of the highest quality, and are rated at between 80,000 to 100,000 working hours.
- The 20 LEDs used in these replacement navigation light bulbs are Superflux, and produce an extremely bright and constant light. Please note that these bulbs are a lot brighter than an ordinary LED.
- Special patent pending technology is designed to avoid damage caused by voltage fluctuations that kill typical LED lights.
- The bulbs are shock resistant and produce only a small amount of heat when in use.
- They use only a fraction of the power used by the standard navigation light bulb, and thereby save on the power drawn by the battery.
- The bulbs are a direct replacement and can be used in most types of navigation lights.
- The LED bulbs have an offset bayonet fitting with both positive and negative connections through the base, and not through the metal holder. Because of this, they will only work one way, so, if after fitting them they do not light, simply change over the + and – terminals in the light fitting. Fitting the bulb with the terminals the wrong way round will not damage the LED light bulb.
- Remember that if you replace conventional navigation light bulbs with LEDs it is advisable that you also lower the rating of the fuse for the navigation light circuit.
- LEDs work on a set colour wave length, so if a white bulb is placed in a green lens it will usually result in a blue-ish light. Therefore it’s important that you choose a direct colour replacement LED light bulb, ie. Green for green, red for red, and white for white
