Description
Teak Wood Ring
The best quality Teakwood grows slowly in hot and humid mountainous jungle areas. To recognise a good quality teakwood, features to look for are a warm honey colour, a regular vein and a smooth touch. Teakwood is at least 30 years old before being transformed and dries for 3 years minimum.
Maintenance : Teak is an oily wood. Though protected by its natural oil, it becomes grey when soiling. To restore its honey colour, clean the wood with diluted Plastimo Sea 77. Once wood is dry, apply Sea 77 oil with a rag without saturating the wood.
