Description
Index Marine manufacture an extensive range of waterproof cable glands which meet the requirements for every type of electrical and electronic installation. Made from tough plastic, they are easy to install and create an effective barrier against the ingress of water. All models are simply fitted to the deck or bulkhead with self tapping screws. Full instructions, fixing screws, gaskets, seals and a sealing cap for use when the cables are removed, are included with each gland.
A gland for a single cable, with no connector attached. Three different diameter seals are supplied. Choose the seal whose diameter most closely matches the diameter of the cable to be passed through. The seal sits between the top and the base of the gland and when the two are screwed together, a neat and watertight seal is created.
